As a key member of our Account Management Team, the Account Manager is responsible for selling into the base of accounts and growing the overall recurring revenue in the account base.

Position Responsibilites

 

Desire to build and optimize the post-sale customer relationships daily while driving customer satisfaction

Main point of contact for the customer account base

Day-to-day management of accounts in the region and complete awareness daily of the top accounts activity

Accurately forecast sales & revenue expectations for customer’s growth

Provide timely, detailed, and accurate reporting to internal and external audiences

Champion customer needs/concerns from the account base to the Director of Account Management and across internal departments

Strong in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and understanding of Customer Success (CSM)

Other duties as assigned

Key Requirements to Suceed in This Position Include:

Top performer in driving growth in sales revenue through an installed account base

Strong knowledge and experience with selling of Contact Center environment, IVR, SMS and applications into an account base

Establishing strong relationships and complete understanding of the accounts assigned and proactively reaches out to drive more business

Complete understanding of IntelePeer’s product set and the competitive marketplace that exists for IntelePeer

An understanding of Customer Success Management and how to adapt to daily activity

Demonstrated ability to interact daily with customers at all organizational levels

Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic; a self-motivated team player

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field highly preferred

Expertise & Experience:

5+ years’ experience in account management and customer experience, with focus on upselling and cross-selling services

5+ years’ experience of applications selling like IVR, SMS, and Contact Center market

Strong experience preferred in the Telecommunications Industry with knowledge of SIP trunking, Unified Communications, cloud based communications for the Enterprise and Contact Center market

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) software; Salesforce preferred
