San Mateo, CA – August 30, 2018 – IntelePeer, a leading business communications platform provider, announced today that Luis Mago, a global strategist and direct private equity investment expert, has joined the company as its Chief Global Strategy Officer. Mago, who was previously serving in an advisory role for IntelePeer, is part of the company’s executive leadership team and will continue to oversee all initiatives related to the company’s international expansion.
IntelePeer has established presence in several countries since announcing the availability of its Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) offerings in Latin America and Europe earlier this year. Mago will be responsible for developing and driving the company’s global strategy and establishing IntelePeer’s presence in select international markets through in-market sales, implementation, and customer support, and working with local associations on community involvement. With IntelePeer’s sales approach completely driven by strategic and channel partners, Mago will lead efforts for recruiting, on-boarding, and growing relationships with in-country partners such as system integrators, development groups, value-added resellers, and distributors. International partners and customers can use IntelePeer’s Atmosphere® Communications Platform as a Service to integrate multi-channel communications into business applications for automated workflows and enhanced customer experiences.
“With a company culture centered on customer service and products that are built to solve the challenges of mid-size and large enterprises, IntelePeer truly meets the needs of companies around the world focused on digital transformation,” said Mago. “I am excited to join such an excellent team and look forward to the company’s growth.”
Mago has built a successful career as a technology specialist, international business strategist, and trusted authority on strategic thinking, organizational planning, and performance management. Prior to IntelePeer, Mago led the expansion for S21sec, a leading European Cybersecurity company in North America and Latin America. Mago founded N4L Strategy Consulting and grew the company to become a leader in the strategy consulting and performance management industry for Fortune 500, mid-sized companies, and early stage environments in the USA, CALA, and Europe, before selling the company in 2013.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome Luis to the IntelePeer team. His contributions have been critical to our early success with establishing partners and customers outside of the U.S.,” said Frank Fawzi, President and CEO at IntelePeer. “His expertise and leadership will continue to be invaluable in our efforts to deliver our transformative solutions to enterprises across the globe.”
