IntelePeer’s partner marketing team spent the first few days of May in beautiful Park City, Utah at the 2019 ImpartnerCON conference hosted by our PRM hosting site, Impartner. As just a few of the 250+ customers in attendance, we came away with insights on growing trends in channel enablement and collaborated about best practices with others using the PRM to make sure we are offering our partners the very best.
This year’s theme was “Elevate.” Between keynote speakers, round tables, panels, and networking receptions backdropped by the incredible Utah mountains, we dug deep into how we can help our partners to elevate every part of their business.
The conference was overflowing with ideas from some of the greatest minds in the indirect sales field and we came away with a long list of short-term and long-term objectives to foster an unforgettable partner journey. We heard from analysts from firms like 2112 and Forrester emphasizing the key differentiators that partner programs like ours should be striving for.
According to 2112 Group’s CEO, Larry Walsch, 62% of B2B buyers expect an experience similar to their B2C purchasing experiences. That means that sales should be efficient, cohesive, and clear whether they are direct or indirect. We took away concepts that will help us to refine the simple, consistent, and transparent experience that we strive to deliver to our partners.
The IntelePeer Partner Portal hosted through Impartner was launched in October of 2018. In its eight short months, we have seen a substantial increase in resources available to our partners and an uptick in partner engagement in return. With the many Impartner modules being leveraged by companies like T-Mobile, Xerox, Adobe, and others we are finding ourselves better positioned to enable our channel partners for success.
We are already seeing partners have success with modules we have in place today such as co-brandable emails and marketing collateral. Our out-of-the-box emails, email campaigns, and marketing collateral are all easily co-branded so our partners can get their customers the information they need in an efficient manner. This allows partners to zero in on customers by industry and highlight how the latest IntelePeer offerings can be leveraged in unique ways to bring the most value to each user.
Partners, like us all, should be able to self-configure their experiences and do business on their own time and terms. We all know that time = $$ and with our quick turn-around quote request form, our partners are saving both by submitting quote requests online. All with one, concise login, partners are submitting and tracking their opportunities while staying up to date on the latest news and trends in the industry.
We are looking forward to continued investment in our partners with additions to the partner portal. Our partners will soon be able to feature their company on a partner locator tool hosted on IntelePeer’s website. Here, they can highlight their specialties, certifications, and services to connect with end users who they are best suited to meet the needs of. We have partners getting ready to level up as CPaaS Pros with our new learning module. Coming soon, this will be a way for partners to establish their proficiency in IntelePeer’s Atmosphere® Communications Platform and give them the information they need to earn big on these new products.
Above all, we left the conference with the tools and connections necessary to ensure that we are offering the best to our partners. From ease of doing business to training to having a quick and simple quote turnaround process, we are looking forward to elevating the partner journey and continue to make it better than ever.
