Communications-as-a-Service (CaaS, typically pronounced 'cass') is an outsourcing model for enterprise communications. Examples of CaaS include rich media, such as voice-over IP, instant messaging, collaboration, text-to-voice, click-to-call, bridge-to-services, and automatic conferencing and video conference applications using fixed and mobile devices. CaaS vendors are responsible for all hardware and software management and offers guaranteed quality of service.
