Frank Fawzi, President and CEO

Frank M. Fawzi is the Chief Executive Officer at IntelePeer, a cloud communications platform company based in San Mateo, California. He joined IntelePeer in 2006 as a Board Member then as CEO in 2007. Mr. Fawzi has been a guiding force in driving the company’s efforts to become a leading innovator of communications services and applications. And with his leadership, the ability to attract and retain exceptional talent and to raise the necessary venture funding, IntelePeer has grown dramatically. This rapid growth was funded with over $55M in venture financing that Mr. Fawzi secured from VantagePoint Venture Partners, Kennet Venture Partners, NorthCap Partners, and EDF Ventures. In recognition, the company has received numerous awards for its products, customer service and leadership over the past several years, including being named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest-growing U.S. companies and to Deloitte’s Silicon Valley’s Fast 50 Rising Star. In March 2015, Mr. Fawzi was the recipient of the 2014 ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award by Stevens Technology Institute, recognizing his leadership talent and achievements.

Between 1991 and 2001, Mr. Fawzi founded and grew CommTech Corporation to be an early leader in the communications software sector. Recognizing CommTech’s leadership and the management capabilities of Mr. Fawzi and his team, Morgan Stanley Venture Partners provided the company with funding, which CommTech deployed to fund its aggressive expansion organically and through acquisitions. CommTech was eventually acquired by ADC, a leading provider of broadband solutions for the telecommunication industry for $178M.

Prior to founding CommTech, Mr. Fawzi worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories and other divisions of AT&T. While at AT&T, he worked as the lead data communications architect on a team responsible for AT&T being awarded a $1.4 billion contract from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Fawzi received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in ‘84 and a Master’s of Science in Management in ’87 both from Stevens Institute of Technology.


Andre Simone, Chief Financial Officer

Andre Simone has served as our chief financial officer since February 2007. Before joining us, Mr. Simone served as chief financial officer of Dimatix, Inc., a provider of piezoelectric inkjet print heads, from February 2005 to October 2006. Prior to Dimatix, Mr. Simone served as chief financial officer of SAP Markets, Inc., a provider of technology platforms and business solutions, from November 2002 to December 2004. Mr. Simone holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Stanford University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.


Phil Bronsdon, Chief Technology Officer

Phil Bronsdon oversees all engineering and technical operations activities at IntelePeer, Inc. He leads the team of VoIP and innovation engineers responsible for the delivery of the company’s carrier service offerings globally.

Phil has over 20 years of engineering and operations expertise in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining IntelePeer, Phil was a Client Principal in the Americas Consulting & Integration vertical for Communications, Media, & Entertainment at Hewlett Packard Corporation. Previously he held the position of Vice President of Operations for ooma Inc. where he was responsible for implementing all operations functions for a consumer VoIP venture funded start-up. Prior to ooma, Phil held a series of significant management roles at Qwest Communications as their Director of Voice Planning & Engineering, Director of IP & ATM Network Engineering, Vice-President of Switch Engineering, and Senior Director of Emerging Technology.

Phil has also served as a Brigade Commander, with the 37th Armored Brigade, Ohio Army National Guard and holds a MBA from Ohio University and a BS, Computer Science Engineering from Ohio State University.


Matt Edic, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience

Matt Edic serves as Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, a position established to demonstrate IntelePeer’s commitment to excellence in customer service. In this role, he and his team ensure the highest level of support in customer interactions from initial implementation to ongoing support. Previously, Matt served as Vice President, Enterprise Sales and Business Development for IntelePeer.

Matt brings to IntelePeer more than 20 years of leadership experience and a strong passion for serving customers, continuous improvement, and teamwork. Before joining IntelePeer in 2008, he was the Director for Enterprise Sales at NexTone (later NextPoint Networks) where he championed the business use of voice over IP technology to connect with telecommunications carriers. Prior to NexTone, Matt was the Senior Director for Global Voice Applications at JPMorgan Chase & Co. where he was responsible for the voice applications and infrastructure for 140 contact centers globally. Prior to JPMorgan Chase & Co., he held several management positions at Qwest Communications in voice engineering, data center operations, and IT program management.

Matt served on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps as an Infantry Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.


Alison Haynes, Vice President of Marketing and Partner Programs

Alison Haynes, VP of Marketing and Partner Programs, leads IntelePeer’s overall marketing strategy and integrated marketing initiatives including corporate, digital, field and partner marketing. With more than 18 years’ of marketing and indirect experience, Alison has been part of award-winning partner programs at GE Access, Level 3 and Global Crossing. She has developed and launched programs and branding campaigns as part of overall sales strategies as well as the tools and programs sales teams and partners need to be successful.


Jeremy Jones, Vice President of Partner Sales

Jeremy Jones is Vice President of Partner Sales at IntelePeer Cloud Communications, responsible for channel partners, solution providers and referral programs with the company. He oversees the expansion of account revenues through value-added sales, solutions-based selling techniques and the achievement of maximum productivity. Previously, Jeremy was the National Director of Partner Sales for Level 3 Communications where he played a key role in developing the strategy to launch the Level 3 Indirect Channel and successfully integrate Global Crossing Indirect Channels post-merger. During his tenure at Global Crossing, Jeremy managed channel partner relationships for national and global services in leadership roles presiding over teams responsible for account management, customer support and sales engineering.
