Frank Fawzi

President and CEO
Frank M. Fawzi is the Chief Executive Officer at IntelePeer, a cloud communications platform company based in San Mateo, California. He joined IntelePeer in 2006 as a Board Member then as CEO in 2007.  Mr. Fawzi has been a guiding force in driving the company’s efforts to become a leading innovator of communication services and applications. With Mr. Fawzi’s leadership and ability to build an experienced and effective team, as well as raise the necessary venture funding, IntelePeer has seen dramatic growth. This rapid growth was supported with over $55M in venture financing that Mr. Fawzi secured from VantagePoint Venture Partners, Kennet Venture Partners, NorthCap Partners, Harvest Growth and EDF Ventures.  In recognition, the company has received numerous awards for its products, customer service and leadership over the past several years, including being named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest-growing U.S. companies and to Deliotte’s Silicon Valley’s Fast 50 Rising Star.

Prior to founding CommTech, Frank worked with AT&T Bell Laboratories and other divisions of AT&T.  While at AT&T, he was the lead data communications architect on a team responsible for AT&T being awarded a $1.4 billion contract from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Frank received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Computer Science and a Masters of Science in Management Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology, and has participated in the Wharton Executive Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
